I didn't have the rights to produce a Conan comics, Marvel was in charge, plus I didn't feel like adapting some REH so I went with my own little thingy, as long as you feel that Slaine reminds you of Cuchulain and the cimmerian king of Aquilonia, I even added some american horror movie themes , y'know lads whattI'm yappin' about, the evil romans and the blue demon. Hey, Bisley even did it AGAIN slipping a "Conan" easter egge in my Slaine comics ohhgoddammya.. you can't have TWO Conans in the same book I told 'em but twas too late huh"

Whatever we may think of Mils, Bisley , their creation Slaine and all, it's leagues better than that crap comics adaptation DH threw in the fan called QotBC.
The man in questionnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7177193073415704349.post-16866522980547424502012-11-14T21:33:33.933+00:002012-11-14T21:33:33.933+00:00Bah! He has them battling succesfully against Cthulhu and Rand al'Thor.
What I have been wondering is that has George R.R Martin has included any Conan/Kull/REH homages in his A Song of Ice and Fire series? He has several of these dedicated to his favorite authors or works. In some interviews he has included REH among his favorite authors.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7177193073415704349.post-77213892435893157132012-11-13T04:31:10.539+00:002012-11-13T04:31:10.539+00:00"And I think Star Trek: The Next Generation o..."And I think Star Trek: The Next Generation offers a workable philosophy for life.
